Lots of smiles and fun when the Furry Friends visited Resthave. A skunk, alpaka, duck, guinea pig, dogs, cat, birds bunnies, and more were all present for our residents' enjoyment!

Resthave Grand Opening a Great Success!

Resthave Home’s Grand Opening was Friday, August 7, 2015, three years to the day of the ground breaking of the now completed addition and renovation project.  Board President John Hauptman spoke about the project and the dream becoming a reality and Resthave resident Hubert Londo said a few words at the ribbon cutting ceremony and cut the ribbon. Martin Brothers supplied an ice sculpture and the delicious food.  It is estimated that over 500 people attended the Grand Opening.  Resthave would like to thank everyone that was involved in the project as well as everyone that was involved in making the grand opening a great success.  Pictured is board member Jerry Lindsey, Lamp project supervisor Steve Werling, Resident Hubert Londo and board member Doug Leech.

Pruis' Donate Shuffle Boards

Mark and Connie Pruis designed and made two shuffle boards that they donated to Resthave Home. One will be for the assisted living wing and the other for the nursing wing. Shuffle board is one of the resident’s favorite games. Pictured from left to right: Jamie Troutman (Assisted Living Quality of Life Coordinator), Nancy VanZuiden (Nursing Activity Director), Connie Pruis (Connie also works at Resthave) and Mark Pruis. Thank you Connie and Mark!
